A fusion of contemporary style and technological innovation with ancient traditions,
Pasifika Styles unites the new wave of contemporary Pacific art and culture with
extraordinary historical collections.
Presented at the University of Cambridge Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology,
the exhibition will run for almost two years and involves a series of events
including workshops, a conference and a visiting artists programme.
Pasifika Styles features a star-studded lineup of artists including Beck’s
Futures finalist Francis Upritchard, Michel Tuffery, Lisa Reihana, Rachel Rakena and
Reuben Paterson.
For the first time ever in the UK, Pasifika Styles offers the chance to venture
on a journey into the beautiful and provocative world of contemporary Maori and
Pacific arts and culture.
