Wayne Youle (Ngapuhi, Ngati Whakaeke, Ngati Pakeha) is developing a strong profile in the New Zealand art scene for his playful challenging of bicultural stereotypes. His work has been shown in public gallery exhibitions including Techno Maori: Maori Art in the Digital Age (2001) at City Gallery Wellington and Pataka Porirua Museum of Arts and Cultures, and Young Maori Contemporary Artists 2004-05 at the Sergeant Gallery in Wanganui.
