Samoan broadcaster and director Lisa Taouma currently works as a director on Tagata Pasifika, New Zealand’s Pacific Islands television programme on TV1. Lisa is the creative director of the inter-media performance group 'Island Divas,' whose work is largely driven by the desire to 're-picture' Polynesia out of typecast clichés and provide fresh platforms for Pacific voices.
